Vegetal Jam is a Folk musical duo founded in 2012. It is formed by accordionist David Aznar, from Zaragoza, and violinist and cellist Miguel Guallar, from Ejea de los Caballeros.
The name of the group means in Spanish "Vegetable jam", since they declare themselves as a rhythm jam: Natural music, without added sugars. It is a Folk style for dancing, mixing Aragonese rhythms and the rest of Europe, with songs of its own composition.
On December 21, 2012 they released their first album, Danza del Bosque Encantado, which was presented on January 11, 2013. In it all songs are danceable compositions, predominantly waltzes and mazurkas.
In 2013, winners of the Villanua Street Music Festival (Huesca) and finalists in the Aragonese Music Awards, in the category of best cover, remain.
They put melody at the head of the Aragón Televisión program "A fair day", with the song entitled "Jota de Almendras".
In 2014 they presented their second album, entitled "Valnerols", which was presented on February 22, 2014 at the Arbolé Theater in Zaragoza.
They have performed at important music festivals in Spain and Portugal.
