A new trio project with three musicians from Liguria (Northern Italy): button accordion player Filippo Gambetta, classical guitarist Carmelo Russo and fiddle player Sergio Caputo. Bal Folk dance répertoire and original compositions mainly addressed to listening audiences are the two main musical threads followed by trio. The band toured extensively Italy from 2017, performing in important festivals such as Etétrad, Festival di Musica Popolare di Forlimpopoli, Solstizio d'Estate Stazzema, Civitella Alfedena Folk Festival, Suq Genova, Concerti all'Abbazia di S.Fruttuoso, Suoni Della Murgia, Rassegna Via Adriatica. The stylistic blend proposed by Filippo, Carmelo and Sergio combines idioms of the traditional music from Italy with melodies from Center France and the British Iles, together with Rumba Flamenco and Norther African sonorities. The trio's soundscape also gets out of the Mediterranean Sea, accompanying the listener in the atmospheres of Brazilian choro and forrò. A concert with multiple colors and contagious vitality. The trio releases the new album Maestrale (Visage Music) in the spring 2019.
